Sunday, September 8th 2013 at 13:00 SK Gallery opens the exhibition „High Altitude“ of the German painter Juergen Staeudtner. Duration of the exhibition: 8.9.2013 – 6.10.2013.
Juergen Staeudtner was born 1967 in Wuerzburg, Germany, and he studied painting, photography and conceptual arts at Free Academy of fine Arts in Essen, Germany.
The gallery shows the latest work cycle of the artist titled „Dach der Welt“, which connects to the previous cycle „Around Public Spaces“.

The exhibition opens up several views on the subject: Staeudtner lets the spectator look down from the highest mountain of the world with a spectacular panorama view. He shows portraits reduced in color of people whose passion for climbing and whose achievements at the mountain influenced public perception of the Mount Everest. Finally the artist develops Ideas of future scenarios by sketching possible touristic or economic uses of the top of the world on neutral grey grounding
