This series shows a mountain by describing its coldness, steepness, scantiness – its extremes by painting. The heavy exposure the mountain experiences in the public leads to a challenging tourism for both – nature and people.
Almost unreal personal relations or “none-relations” become apparent with intensive studies of the subject. On the following pages some of them are highlighted.
David Sharp *1972 +2006
David Sharp (15 February 1972 – 15 May 2006) was an English mountaineer who died near the summit of Mount Everest after possibly reaching the summit of Mount Everest on his third attempt. His death caused controversy and debate, because he was passed by a number of other climbers heading to and returning from the summit.
Morgan Boisson *1988 +2009
Morgan Boisson was an American student. While studying in China he travelled to Mount Everest base camp were he died.
