Morgan James Pierre Boisson (November 23, 1988- October 20, 2009) was an American student, who was studying at Nanjing Normal University, China. He was born in France and was living in Arizona, USA.

Boisson and a group of other students flew to Lhasa, the capital of Tibet, and ascended to Mount Everest base camp by bus, scaling 7,000 feet in two days. The ascension was too quick.

Boisson, accompanied by 13 students and a Chinese tour guide, became ill at base camp and stopped breathing during the descent. With no medical assistance available, and a rapid descent, he died – despite his companions’ efforts to save him. Morgan would have celebrated his 21st birthday on a view days later.
